"I ordered online and picked it up..."
I ordered online and picked it up later the same day, so that part was easy enough. The queue did feel a bit slow, though maybe I just caught it at a busy time

"Pretty easy to use overall"
The site is easy to use for the most part. Search seems to work well enough, and checkout was quick for me. The only minor thing is that the stock filters can feel a little clunky on mobile sometimes, but it’s not a huge issue

I tried using the promo code, but the discount disappeared right at checkout again. that gave me a bad first impression and felt a little sneaky, like the deal was there just long enough to get me interested.

"I placed a click and collect order..."
I placed a click and collect order at my local Screwfix in the morning and went to pick it up later that day. To be fair, everything I ordered was ready and correct, and the staff were friendly enough when I got served.
The only downside was the wait in store. I popped in thinking I’d be out in a few minutes, but there was a queue and it moved slower than I expected, especially since the shop didn’t look that busy. Not a terrible experience, just frustrating when you’re trying to get on with your day. I’d say 3 stars is about right

"Refund came through, just took a bit longer than I thought"
I returned something to Screwfix and, yeah, the refund did come through in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. The staff were fine about it and the return itself was straightforward.
It just took a few days longer than I was expecting, which had me checking my bank a couple of times like, has it actually gone in yet? Not a massive problem, just would’ve been better if the money came back a bit quicker.

"Had a feeling the details were off"
I ordered from Screwfix after checking the specs on the website, but when I went to pick it up, the item didn’t match what was listed. The staff were perfectly fine about it, but my gut says the product info just isn’t being checked properly. Ended up wasting a trip back, which was frustrating.

"Staff weren’t really much help"
I went in looking for a specific part and, the staff didn’t really seem too bothered. One guy sort of just pointed me down an aisle and then walked off, which was a bit frustrating. I found someone else after that, but they didn’t really seem sure either, so I was kind of left figuring it out myself. Usually Screwfix is decent, but yeah, this visit wasn’t great

"The trade account really does make life easier"
I’ve been using the trade account for jobs, and it’s made things much smoother. The pricing is clear, orders are usually ready quickly, and there’s no messing about when I need to get materials sorted. From my experience, it’s a really handy setup that saves time and hassle

I’ve used the Screwfix app a few times now and, to be honest, it’s been decent. I wasn’t expecting much, but it makes it easy to find what I need, check stock at my local store, and pay before heading over. Pickup has usually been ready fairly quickly too. Not much to complain about really — it just does the job without any hassle

"Stock can be a bit hit and miss"
Well... Screwfix is usually alright, but lately I’ve found the things I need aren’t always in stock at my local branch. The website will sometimes show it’s available nearby, but that can mean having to drive out of the way. Prices are decent and the staff are helpful enough, I just wish the availability was a bit more reliable. Not terrible, but not great either.

I bought a pack of screws half the heads stripped almost straight away. After paying, I just felt a bit let down and started wondering if I could even trust the quality of what I’d bought. Ended up wasting time going back for a refund, which was frustrating. I expected better from Screwfix, to be honest.

I ordered a few things I needed quickly, but the delivery ended up taking longer than they originally said. What made it more annoying was the lack of proper updates, and I felt like I had to keep explaining the situation over and over just to find out where my order was. The items were fine once they finally arrived, but the waiting around was really frustrating.

It worked out in the end, but the checkout experience was just okay. Everything went through fine, though the payment page felt a little slow and made me wonder if it was loading properly.

"Hard to admit, but they got my order right"
I’m usually loyal to another brand, so I was almost expecting to find some reason not to be impressed. But everything I ordered was in the bag, nothing was wrong, and nothing was missing. Happy with it, even if it makes me question my usual go-to a little.

The website showed the item as available, so I made the trip over, but it wasn’t actually there. Maybe the stock just hadn’t updated yet, but it was still frustrating and felt like a wasted trip...
